Wash and peel the skin of the apples.
Chop the apples and remove the core.
Add the chopped apple pieces into the blender and grind it to the smooth puree.
Heat a heavy bottom pan and add 2 tablespoons of ghee to it.
Once the ghee is melted add the apple puree to the pan and cook it for 10 minutes so that the moisture present in the apple puree evaporates.
Then add the sugar and mix it well. Once the sugar melts the halwa becomes liquidy again.
Cook for another 10 minutes till the halwa becomes little thick.
Add the few drops of rose essence, salt and add the remaining ghee and mix it well.
Once the halwa turns thick enough add the chopped nuts and switch the flame.
Serve the apple halwa hot and enjoy.
